It’s always a bit risky bringing out a Christmas tune nowadays when Michael Bublé already exists, despite this, some lucky few manage to make it into the x-mas catalogue bought out every year, in this case, it’s Liam Gallagher who’s taken the plunge.
Twinkling with orchestral hums and the touching theme of love and hope in times of darkness it’s akin to LG’s predecessor and idol John Lennon following in the footsteps of ‘Happy Xmas (War Is Over)’.
It’s the polar opposite to the rock and roll star’s discography; delicate and alluring, a festive favourite for years to come, perfectly paired with a warm fire and a mulled wine, mmm delightful.
